NoteAtlas is a free music-learning site: no ads, no accounts. Packs are generated from the same fingering data and diagram renderers as the free charts. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which takes care of tax, receipts and invoices.
Questions about packs
I'm learning on my own. Is there anything for me?
Yes. The free charts, tools and printables are all yours, at any age. If you play a band instrument, the Practice Pack ($5) adds a big chart for it, flashcards, the scales written for it and a 30-day plan with a practice log; drummers can use the Snare Audition Pack for rudiments and reading. The packs don't cover piano or guitar: for those, the free chord charts and printables are everything there is.
How do I get the files?
Straight after paying you land on a download page, and Dodo Payments emails you a receipt with your download link. Each pack is one ZIP file with a US Letter folder and an A4 folder of PDFs. No account to create.
What if it isn't right for me?
If a pack isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. No questions, no need to delete anything first — we trust you. Email hello@noteatlas.org with the email address you paid with.
Is sales tax or VAT added?
Dodo Payments works out any sales tax or VAT from your location and shows it at checkout before you pay. At checkout you can add your school's name and tax ID so they appear on the invoice.
Can the receipt be in my school's name?
Yes. Add the school's name and tax ID at checkout and Dodo Payments puts them on the invoice. Forgot? Email us with your payment ID and we'll help get it reissued.
Can I pay in pounds or euros?
Yes. Prices here are in US dollars; checkout shows the price in your local currency (pounds, euros and many more) before you pay, including any VAT.
What will I see on my card statement?
Dodo Payments processes the payment as merchant of record for NoteAtlas, so their name may appear on your statement with ours. Your receipt email comes from Dodo Payments too.
Can I share the files with my students?
Yes — that's what the license is for. Classroom: you and all your students, including a password-protected class site like Google Classroom. Campus: every teacher at one school. Studio: you and up to 50 private students — emailing the PDFs to them or sharing a private Drive or Classroom folder is fine. Family: one household. Personal (the Snare Audition Pack): one drummer only. Just don't post the files on a public website.
Is NoteAtlas still free?
Yes. Every chart, tool and free printable stays free, with no ads, no accounts and no email gate. Packs are optional extras for people who want everything ready to hand out — buying one helps fund the free site.
Who makes these?
NoteAtlas, the free music-learning site. The packs are generated from the same fingering data and the same diagram renderers as the free charts on this site, so the paper and the screen always agree.
What if I find a mistake?
Email hello@noteatlas.org. We fix the data, which fixes the free charts and the packs together, and we'll send you the corrected files.
